Siân Gwenllian MS Working for the people of Arfon

Arfon Assembly Member visited the new school at Maesgeirchen, Bangor on the first day.

Sian Gwenllian said:

“It was great to visit the new Ysgol Glancegin at Maesgeirchen, Bangor on the first day for the 260 pupils.

The old school has been demolished and the brand new, state-of-the-art facilities provide a fantastic learning environment for the children and staff following an investment of nearly £5M.

This was one of the projects I initiated as Education Cabinet Member on Gwynedd Council before becoming Assembly Member so it was particularly special to visit the school to see the modern facilities. ”
