Local representatives invite residents to discuss issues

The tradition of political representatives holding in-person meetings with constituents — meetings known as constituency surgeries — gives residents access to their political representatives.

Surgeries are described as an opportunity for constituents to meet with their political representatives to discuss local issues and concerns.

And soon the local Member of the Senedd for Arfon will hold one of her regular surgeries in Penrhosgarnedd.

Siân Gwenllian MS has invited residents to meet with herself and the local councillor to discuss matters relating to the Welsh Parliament, including health, housing, education, and the environment, or matters relating to Gwynedd Council, including planning permission.

Despite the fact Cllr. Menna Baines was re-elected as county councillor for Y Faenol ward in the 2022 elections, residents from across the city are invited to discuss concerns.

The surgery will be held in Penrhosgarnedd on 24 May. For safety reasons the location will not be disclosed beforehand, but those wishing to attend the surgery should contact the office to arrange an appointment. You can do so by sending an email to [email protected] or by calling 01286 672076.
