Dafydd has represented Aber, Llandygai, Llanllechid, Talybont and Tyn y Maes for over 10 years, and has been nominated for the new Arllechwedd ward that now also includes Caerhun, Glasinfryn, Minffordd, Pentir, Rhydygroes and Waen Wen.

• Dafydd was instrumental in securing flood prevention schemes for Talybont and Tan-y-lôn following major floods in 2012 and 2015.
• At the start of the pandemic, he set up a Covid support group in the area.

• Governor of Ysgol Llandygai.

Dafydd's priorities:

• Establish a community transport plan.
• Work with Gwynedd Council to get more homes for young families.
• Work with the community council to further develop Talybont playing field.
